Strategic Pharma testifies in front of Colorado legislators to help pass PTSD bill

DENVER, CO - Legislators voted 5-0 Wednesday to add PTSD as a qualifying condition for access to medical marijuana.

Nine people testified in front of the committee, including Strategic Pharma CEO and veteran Christopher Meredith.

"We are here if you need a resource to prove the medical benefits for PTSD. Our science and research are available to help pass this bill, and ultimately help those suffering," said Meredith.

Other public testimonies were given by Dr. Joseph Cohen - retired obstetrician turned medical marijuana expert - and Stacy Lynn - founder of the Cannability Foundation and activist responsible for Jack's Law.

The committee hearing was one of nine focused on marijuana legislature.
